Alright, sooo, I downloaded both the top download and the bottom download, but it gave me an error message saying I was missing some file with the file attachment .dll. So I downloaded both of those links towards the bottom of the page and clicked on the shortcut on the Start tab. The black box appeared, then disappeared, and nothing happened. I restarted my laptop after a few tries and this time clicked on the desktop shortcut. I think if I look closely at the black box it says something similar to, "Connecting to game server." It still didn't work. Is it possible that my internet could be too slow?

Try deleting your Txt. file that can be found in the Last Moon folder then start the game again~

what does it say below that before it goes down? it could either be a little hiccup or you may have your firewall blocking the game from connecting ot the server.
try going into your last moon folder and deleting the version.txt file

Okay, I did what you all said and deleted the version file, then I clicked on the shortcut and it updated itself for about two hours. Then when it was finished it closed itself, so I pulled it back up and realized that the version file had come back. And the black box just says, "Starting Update," and it stays like that until it closes itself or you close it. The version file seems to come back every time I click on the shortcut. Here's the update file: 2014-02-16 11:45 New version: 0.4.06 2014-02-16 11:45 Current version: 2014-02-16 11:45 Force: 0 2014-02-16 11:45 Writing to: C:\Users\foo\AppData\Local\Last Moon\game\ 2014-02-16 11:45 -----STARTING UPDATE-----

If its working correctly it should stay like that for a long time and then begin updating which also takes a VERY long time. I reccomend going to do something else for an hour or so before coming back to check on it, or at least that's how long mine took. It only takes that long the FIRST time you load the game IF its allowed to fully update. Otherwise it'll just check the version number, see that they match and then open the next window for you almost imediately. However if theres another update then it will take a little while [but usually these are few and far between and only take two or three minutes tops IF that]

and the same thing happens if you delete the version.txt again? Sorry for the double post but now it has begun doing it to me too, the updating acting up and it continues to give me the same problems even if the version.txt is deleted. I'm going to try reinstalling it tomorrow.
