Alpha Eclipse, any chance you're the same Alpha Eclipse from Feral Heart? And I can promise, no viruses. Although at the same time I can ALSO promise that with my experiences with Norton.... Norton has a REALLY bad habit of branding EVERYTHING as a "threat" and a "virus" even when its not so it may tell you "OMG ITS A VIRUS" when its...really not. I don't know why Norton is so spazz-happy but it is. The game's safe and I've had zero issues with my computer since downloading it. (Though the download and then black update box that comes up once you start the game takes a LONG time to install everything the first time you open it but that happens to everyone and its completely normal. Its an auto-updater so you don't have to keep redownloading the game or keep redownloading patches when the game updates.) That's about all I can say.

Completely safe! I've downloaded the game on two of my computers, and I have no trouble. As Faint said, the black box is an auto update thing. Don't worry, and don't close it until it opens. <3

I don't know why people still have Norton LOL. But yeah, Last Moon is 100% Virus free. I have it on my dad's laptop and on my desktop and I have zero problems with it. I even scanned it with Malwarebytes(which is one of the top malware programs) and it detects nothing. I have also scanned it with avast! aniti-virus and still no results. So, I can gurantee that Last Moon is 100% safe and Bellator approved!

Faint has pretty much covered all the details of what needs to be said here. Norton will signal everything as a threat when it isn't. There is no virus on the download for LM. It is from an unpublished computer so you're Norton will say that it is. And we're not here to give your computers viruses, so suck it up and download if you want to play or just keep fighting your Norton.

~AlphaEclipse~ I personally have Norton 360, it blocked LM on the firewall the first time it updated to scan it, and I got tired of waiting... This was after I had problems. It randomly blocked LM, probably for deleting files for updates and replacing them, NOT any other files, but it's just a little sensitive. I promise it's safe, Had it since September. AND, Computers with protection would block LM under the firewall and then alert you to delete it if there was malware, spyware, etcetera installed on it. You should be just fine, no need to worry. And there's been people on for years, there's around 2k - 1.5k members now. Wouldn't that be enough to do a mass hack? And Myz is a great person, he would never do anything like that. This is a WORRY FREE ZOOOONE *Magical rainbow appears* No way would this be able to install anything, and you can always go under your firewall by clicking the norton symbol, going under Security, the little computer thing pops up, and then it says Manage Firewall near the bottom. There's several separate files you have to unblock if this also happens to you. I made a whole forum post about it, but just alerting you this happened with me and my friend's Norton programs. If you don't have Norton 360, not sure if these directions will be of any help. If you get it without your dad's permission, then you can always remove it safely. I've had to re-install it sometimes from it lagging out, and delete the previous version in downloads and the other areas. :] I assure you, it's perfectly safe. And as Faint said, the 'black box of doom' is just an update box or installing box. Pops up when you reinstall or install LM for the first time. If it stops, PM the error code it gives to Myz. If it freezes, close it and re-open LM. This may look like a program to be 'skeptic of', but it's still in Alpha or Beta, not sure which. They're updating frequently, so don't get scared about the black box or anything involving updates. The layout is sometimes changed, sometimes people pay 3-4 diamonds for presets (Not sure how many, I forgot..) And then that requires the use of black box. It's MUCH easier than making every user install a patch, because not all users would. Different maps added would cause confusion if everyone didn't have it, and the news might not get out that there was an update.
As I was saying, LM is an overall safe program. It's STILL in Alpha-Beta, and may look 'insecure' to your father, but the community is kind, the administrators and moderators are helpful, and most of all, good RP's, quests, maps, meshes, and this game just brings me back every time I attempt to stay away for a day or two. I have to at LEAST use the forums once a week! :] Hope I see you on here sometime soon! And Norton already said this was safe when I downloaded. Tell your father that Norton will alert you if something is safe, and if it isn't, it will stop the process of downloading to ask you to keep going or stop. On my computer, people voted it's safe. Every LM user who voted who has Norton 360 said it was safe, and mine is the real Norton 360 with prescriptions needing to be filled yearly. Just tell your dad there's a forum where there's all these people saying LM is safe, and then let him look. I promise it's safe, and if it isn't, then it won't do any harm to your computer if you dad doesn't approve or if you accidentally download it or something randomly. It's easy to remove, and doesn't slow down your computer or take up too much space.
The things your dad may be skeptic of is mainly the black box, because it has black text and it says 'REMOVING OLD FILES' 'FILES REMOVED' etc at first, when it's updating. Tell him it's frequently doing that as a reason of updating, because if that wasn't there, I have the whole patch speech above, etcetera. Good luck getting LM, and good luck getting your dad to be able to use it! :] I'd even be willing to get a screenshot that LM is safe and post it on here for your father to see if he really wants to. I can use my snipping tool and pull up Norton 360 and pull up the area where it says it's safe! ;] Good luck!
(And by the way, Norton 360 is for overprotective parental units, as my own..)

My dad just never trusts ANYONE. So Let's see what stupid Norton has to say today. xD

~Detective Dutch bumps in~ Hello! So as many of you have already said, Norton, well, erm, Sucks. Norton, again as many of you guys have said, is known to tag programs as viruses, although there are none to be found. Going on to the specs, There have been many studies of which anti-virus system is best, and there is one answer to this: Microsoft Security Essentials Not only is it free, but it is proven through multiple test that it is the best of all the other anti-virus systems. I will find the study for this and edit my post Norton, altough it acts like a know it all, and measures your "computer speed" and what not, is actually a sort of scam to make you think Norton has it under control. The truth is, Norton can't really measure "computer speed/performance" accurately, since it is practically and opinion rather than a factual report. Some people use their computers for mainly writing, and therefore don't use much speed, and others prefer an image heavy computer, that can be used for a variety of things. Microsoft Security Essentials is one of the only anti-virus soft wares I'll ever trust, because not only can you plan out quick scans, scans that go over your most essential documents, but also full scans, that usually take a whole day (for me at least) and scan every inch of your computer, not leaving one stone un-turned. It also can do scans on the spot if you are worried that you may have something. It also scans while you work, and also takes up very little CPU usage so you barely even notice it scanning. It also updates itself regularly with the latest of the latest viruses to scan your computer for them. Now for the real statistics: I've had Microsoft Security Essentials for about 2 years now, and I have yet to encounter a virus/ warning of malware since it hands those things by itself. If you would like the download to this amazing Anti-virus, I will leave the link here: windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-essentials-download
