The Life of a Pride, Generations
Description/Story:
The first character you see in this video is adolescent Dude, the son of the leaders of a massive pride.
Dude is not in line to take over the thrown, his older brother is, so eventually he will have to leave the pride and search for one of his own.
Dude's parents have a very low tolerance level, so when adolescent Raksha and her parents come to their lands in search of water, Dude's father attacks the family and kills Raksha's mother. The pride members then attempt to attack Raksha and her father, they're forced to run separate ways, never to see each other again.
Dude had never thought of his parents to be such killers. After watching the helpless lioness die at his fathers paws, Dude decided that once he was old enough to start his own pride, he'd make sure it'd be nothing like this one.
Young adult Dude leaves his pride and starts his own adventure.
He reaches a cave, where he soon finds sleeping Raksha.
They had never met face-to-face before so they had no idea they were at the same place of Raksha's mothers' death.
Due to having to grow up parentless, Raksha was very aggressive at first, but once Dude shown no sign of wanting to attack her, she calmed down.
Dude invited her to travel with him, which, simply, she accepted.
Over time they grew to love each other.
They spent years together. Playing, hunting, sleeping, the norm'.
Raksha was sleeping on a tiny patch of land in the middle of a lake while Dude had a quick drink.
Unexpectedly, Raksha felt as if she had been stabbed in the belly, both lions completely unsure as to what was going on.
After a few minutes they understood.
Raksha gave birth to a small single female cub.
Dude and Raksha raised their cub, whom they named Lyre, to be as strong and healthy as possible.
She was a happy cub. She got in trouble at times, played in the water, annoyed her parents etc etc.
Once Lyre hit young adulthood, Dude got sick and passed away.
Raksha and Lyre left their territory.
Eventually they run into an albino male lion, which Lyre quickly grows an attraction to.
Raksha realizes Lyre is old enough to take care of herself now since she's found a male.

This is a short video of how Lyra and Ash (Raksha's parents) remember all the time they had together before Dude's father killed her.
Lyra was quite shocked that Ash just ran, leaving her to die and Raksha to grow up alone.

This is a short video of how Lyra and Ash (Raksha's parents) remember all the time they had together before Dude's father killed her.
Lyra was quite shocked that Ash just ran, leaving her to die and Raksha to grow up alone.
). The scenes were very fluid and I was able to understand everything that was going on without needing to read the summary, so kudos for that! I thought it was beautiful <3 Wonderful piece~!
