Alright, so we (friends and I) were talking in LM, and we came up with some ideas. Forgive me if some were already proposed. Feel free to kick me, you know, because I have no idea how difficult it is to code/make items. I have had the displeasure of coding for actions and extremely short, "choose-your-own-adventure," games (with the aid of a teacher and a site). But I have never made an actual server and so forth.
I thank you for your patience and forbearance.
1. New pets!
a. Zombie Dogs
---I. Mastiff
---II. Beagle
---III. Pug
b. Meerkats
c. Whitewolf (A realistic one, not the preset-of-a-mod/NPC-like, one.)
2. Items!
a. Aztec collars and jewelry. (Maybe it could be dropped within a new map filled with ancient ruins and Quetzalcoatl birds?)
b. Ice cream! Maybe even an ice cream hat where it looks like someone dropped their cone on on your head and then "accidentally" rubbed it in?
c. BACON.
d. Bear items that fit bear avatars. (Being taken care of!)
e. Muzzles for different head types--so they FIT. Maybe some different ribbons, too, that work for different bodies. (Same!)
f. Old-fashioned, robin-hood, towering (the sort women in the 1700's+ wore) and/or musketeer hats.
3. Store.
a. There could be another store, or perhaps a "pit stop" place, where you can try items on before you buy them---or at least view screenshots of them in-game on various types of characters, in a weird box or something. That way, people don't waste their gold. It is understood that the "buyer beware" adage should not have to be reiterated, but when an item sounds better than it looks... Different people have different tastes. It would just be nice. (Guides are being made!)
b. The ability to sell whiskers to the rat at the Bazaar.
c. The ability to hand over a pet in-game to another player free of charge or through a trading system. EX: You drop an item in this trading market place. Another player asks to pick it up. You can deny them the right, or acquiesce, if they drop an item as well... Like metals/medals (gold, silver, bronze)--or another pet. (You can just drop-and-swap items regularly [if anyone cheats/goes back on his or her word, you can take a screenshot and report to a Mod], or go on the site to do your business.)
4. Quests.
a. The option of redoing a quest. This means once you complete it, you can hit "start again," instead of running all the way back to a NPC.
b. The option of abandoning a quest.
c. Being able to see the quest BEFORE accepting it.
d. If a boss can kill you with one shot, the reward for a quest that requires you to kill it should be raised to silver, or even gold. Or else that creature should not be able to "kill" (wound) you with a single hit.
5. Strange things.
a. After a rain cycle in Rainbow Falls, I was wondering if rainbow puddles could appear. If your character steps into one, and remains there for about a minute (so if there is an accident there can't be any complaints), its fur is dyed that color(s) or pattern(s), as whatever the case may be.
b. Pets are capable of being trained so their health bars increase!
6. Stock.
a. Your stash capacity is upped to 150 items.
b. Your Lunges, Cures, etc. are upped to 300.
EDIT: 7. Portal
a. In accordance to the ancient ruins/Aztec suggestion, a new map may be in order. Perhaps an Egyptian-themed one, with different temples and creatures to go with it?
---I. A Spyhnx-like entity would be the boss pet for this realm?
---II. There could be mummies, and an Egyptian pet for each temple to be praised. (EX: For Bastet, there would be cats. It can be the same kind we use, or they can look like those sphinx cats or variations of the elegant siamese. For Anubis, there could be puppies--same idea as Bastet, but with canines and ancient breeds. For Ra, it could be eagles or hawks, or some sort of bird. Personally, I love Thoth, Anubis, Isis, and Hathor as well as Bastet. A possible monster could be the Devourer, Ammit, who eats the hearts of people if their heart weights heavier than the feather of truth.)
---III. Historical/mythological quests. Gods and goddesses of Egypt were generally fair and loyal. They demanded respect and sacrifice, but not in the way other gods do/did. They acted according to laws and so forth. Possible quests could include: Bringing messages to and fro for Cleopatra, Nefertiti, etc., getting food for their stores/their tables/sacrifices, or "bringing the sun" through the gates for Ra.
EDIT: 8. Quests
a. More quests that do not require you to kill creatures; you could carry messages back and forth or something between NPC's, or praise/pet X amount of pets/animals X amount of times and must get X amount of items from the praised animals.
I thank you for your patience and forbearance.
