Does anybody else think we should be able to assign certain skills to certain numbers?

I think it'd be great, especially for after you get wounded and you have to heal, then target, then switch back to your cures/super cures (when fighting a boss anyway).

Boss fighting is my main reason for wanting hotkeys >_> not to mention they'd just be plain useful.

I do. I know other games generally have them. They make it easier to coordinate attacks and such. Agreed.

Also, maybe the hotkeys not only would equip the item, but it'd use it too. So you wouldn't have to worry about accidentally healing your pet in a critical moment, you could just hit 3 or something.

Having hotkeys for certain skills can become very complicated. xD There are a lot of skills out there on LM, and newcomers might find it confusing if there was a hotkey for every single skill, let alone it being hard to explain to them (if I am understanding you correctly).

Maybe we should be able to set a set amount of skills. Like the 3,4, and 5 keys could be for skills, but only three. Ex: 3 would be cure, 4 would be zoom, and 5 would be super cure. But all the others you'd have to cycle through, and you could reset them, making 3 backflip instead of cure for example.

But... That's what the help section of the forum would be for. Anyway, there ARE only about 7 skills anyway.

7? There's more than 7... Super cure, cure, backflip, stomp, roar, sweep, zoom, tame... Just naming the ones off the top of my head is 8 xD

No it isn't... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0. That's 10.

This idea is great, yes, but wouldn't there have to be coding just so the hotkeys could work? I know it might look simple to just add them in like that, but it'll take some time.
It also would be confusing for new members, for there would be alot of threads asking which key is which, then a whole thread of what the hotkeys do will have to be made.
I still like the idea, though.

No it isn't... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0. That's 10. 1 is used for setting auto attack. So you can use it. I could count as an 11th skill if you want to look at it like that, so there aren't enough keys. And two is for swapping

Then why not have it where YOU the player could auto map the skills to certain keys, limiting it to two. That way it wouldn't confuse new players who have to figure out how to use a more complex skill system. There could still be the "1" auto-attack and the "2" for cycling through, but assigning two skills to 3 and 4 for a quick swap when fighting.
however like mentioned, there is coding behind this and whether or not rak or myz can figure that out is up in the air. its a nice thought though.
