Okay, so one think I'm confused about is;
Why was the option to switch between char name/username at will removed? I mean... each user may have different preferences. Having the option to switch doesn't really affect the people who just user username, in fact it probably doesn't even matter to them. But then.. there are roleplayers who would rather see character name in local instead, so why not let them change that for themselves? I mean it's only them and the others who changed the setting who see character names, everyone else would still see usernames... so why does it make such a difference?
Some people say "It makes it easier to keep track of usernames and to report" when in reality it doesn't affect that at all. People can keep track of usernames just as easily with that option there just by clicking the button and setting it to "Username". And people can report just the same, too. So what's the point in removing it?

I'd like to be able to say there was a reasonal purpose of why we changed it over but I'd be lying. The reason for this was to effect something in the coding if I remember correctly. Though it DOES make getting reports and sending then easier on everyone. I thought we had it set as default with the option to change to local, but I may be wrong

Okay, thanks for giving me a real answer XD One of the staff in-game I asked just kept repeating "It makes repoorting easier" and wouldn't give me a reason that's true. XD
